For operations leaders

Take control of your operations, without a developer for every change

Operations leaders are asked to lift service quality and cut cost per transaction at the same time. Opzaro is built around live task queues, SLA visibility every member of staff can act on, and a process designer your own team can actually use — day to day, not as a quarterly project. Read our practical guide on how to take control of your operations.

The brief on your desk

Two pressures. One system.

Faster cycle times and fewer dropped handoffs, without growing the team — and increasingly, an answer for how AI fits into the operation, not just the strategy deck.

Capacity

Do more with the team you have

Staff lose hours chasing status updates, re-keying data between systems, and working from documents that describe a process rather than run it.

Visibility

Make quality visible, not just promised

SLA breaches, bottlenecks and rework are often invisible until a client complains, or until a report is compiled weeks after the fact.

Governance

Show real control, not a slide about it

A full audit trail and self-serve reporting should be built into daily task handling, not something you assemble after the fact for an audit.

Every day

What your team sees, every day — and any admin configures

These are things a team leader or staff member interacts with constantly. None of them need a developer or a change request.

Live SLA status

Every task shows green, amber or red, computed by walking its remaining path through the process — visible in the everyday task list, not a separate reporting module.

Team leader, first class

Team leads see everything their team is responsible for, reassign, reprioritise and reorder — without full administrator rights.

Priority & manual work order

Normal, High or Urgent, plus a manual work-order number, so a key client or regulatory deadline jumps the queue.

Rework, without redesigning the process

A task can be sent back to an earlier step for correction — real-world approval bounce-backs, handled natively.

Deadlines that act on their own

A hard deadline can auto-approve, auto-escalate, or move a task on if nobody actions it in time.

Self-serve reporting

One-click CSV export of every task's step-by-step timing, assignee, priority and captured data — no BI platform required.

Process design

Your own team changes the process — not IT

Processes are drawn as visual BPMN diagrams: start events, user tasks, gateways, end events. Click any step to configure its form, permissions, SLA, deadline and routing in one panel — the diagram itself is the process definition, readable without specialist BPMN training.

Whole processes — diagram, forms and code — export and import as a single package, for backup, version control, or promoting from test to live. Processes, step code and permissions can also sync straight to a GitHub repository, for full, auditable source control across dev, staging and production.

Form Entry Code Exit Code Permissions SLA Deadlines Assignment

Step configuration, in one place

Each tab is a business decision, not a technical one: who can act on this step, how long it should take, what happens if it runs over, and who it goes to next.

Native e-signature

Approvals and contracts that sign themselves into the process

Opzaro includes a full e-signature module — OpSign, built on the open-source OpenSign engine — fused directly into the workflow. A task pauses the moment it needs a signature and resumes itself automatically the instant signing completes, with no middleware gluing a separate DocuSign or Adobe Sign account onto your process.

Reusable templates with role-based signers, sequential or parallel signing order, and public no-login signing links mean an external party — a client, a contractor, a one-off approver — can sign without ever creating an account.

Common questions

Take control of your operations: common questions

1

How can operations leaders take control of their processes without more headcount?

By making SLA status, workload and bottlenecks visible in the everyday task list itself, and putting reassignment, reprioritisation and reordering directly in a team leader's hands — no developer or change request for every adjustment.

2

What does "taking control of operations" actually look like day to day?

Live green, amber or red SLA status on every task. Team leads seeing everything their team owns and acting on it directly. Deadlines that auto-approve, auto-escalate or move a task on — control running automatically, not just reviewed in a weekly status meeting.

3

Do I need developers to make changes to how my operations run?

No. Processes are drawn as visual BPMN diagrams — the diagram is the process definition. Any admin can click a step to configure its form, permissions, SLA, deadline and routing, and a built-in tester walks every route before it goes live.

4

How do I get visibility into SLA breaches before they become a client problem?

Live SLA colour status sits on every task row in the normal task list, so a breach is visible the moment it happens — plus one-click CSV export of every task's timing and priority for self-serve reporting.
